Saturday, Feb. 10 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Iqaluit Library. Fill a bag full of books and pay just $5.00. Proceeds go to Iqaluit Library Board.

Pancake supper
Monday, Feb. 12 from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Inuksuk High. Proceeds go to rebuilding the Anglican cathedral.

Musical tea
Sunday, Feb. 25 at 2 p.m. at Ecole des Trois Soleils, presented by the Iqaluit Music Society. Admission is free, donations gratefully accepted. For info, contact Heather Daley at harmonyheather@northwestel.net

Maintenance Orders Enforcement Act consultations
Thursday, Feb. 15 at 7 p.m. inside the Nunavut Justice building. Learn about proposed changes to child and family support and share your views about how to make the system better. Coffee will be served.

Canada Games torch relay run
Saturday, Feb. 3 at Inuksuk High School, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Come celebrate the 2007 Canada Winter Games. Hot chocolate and bannock will be served.

Frobisher the Opera
Tuesday, Feb. 6 at 7:30 p.m. at Aqsarniit School. The Calgary Opera presents excerpts from the opera “Frobisher” and selected opera classics.

Beauty and the Beast
Friday, Feb. 9 and Saturday, Feb. 10 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 11 at 1:30 p.m. at Inuksuk High, presented by students and staff. For more info, call the school at 979-5281.
